Notes La imagen es una foto de la reproducción publicada en Alfredo Valenzuela Puelma. El rigor de la Academia, colección Pintura Chilena del Siglo XIX, editorial Origo, 2008. Hay dos versiones de este retrato, una en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes y otro en una colección particular; la obra fue enviada a la Exposición de Buffalo de 1901, donde Valenzuela Puelma ganó medalla de tercera clase.
