Description

Faedo Faedo, situé de l’autre côté de la rivière, fait face a à Fontanellata. Il est divisé en deux quartiers avec l’oratoire au milieu, comme point de jonction. Les maisons des deux agglomérations étaient à portée de vue, avant la croissance désordonnée des arbres, et formaient donc une seule communauté. Dans la nuit du 31 août 1992, la plus grande partie du village de Faedo a été dévastée par la crue des eaux du torrent Foioi. Deux personnes sont décédées, 13 bâtiments ont été détruits. D’énormes efforts communs ont permis de soigner les blessures les plus profondes et le paysage se présente aujourd’hui comme relativement tranquille. Fondazione Valle Banova
