Description

San Carlo San Carlo, sur le territoire de Bignasco, a une structure ramifiée, ses constructions sont éparpillées le long des routes qui sillonnent les prés. Cette disposition est due au fait que cette agglomération a été construite seulement vers 1700, alors que la transhumance des habitants de Bignasco était déjà effective et que l’on ne sentait plus la nécessité de vivre en communauté, puisqu’en hiver la vallée n’était pas habitée. A San Carlo, se sont installés les terriens de Présa (hameau abandonné, en raison du danger d’éboulement). Dans l’ancien lieudit de Présa, restauré et valorisé en 2010, il est encore possible de voir des ‘’maisons-tours’’ (case torri) exemples intéressant d’architecture rurale. On y trouve également l’oratoire en bon état, avec des fresques datant de 1524. Fondazione Valle Banova
