KANEOHE BAY, Hawaii (June 29, 2014) Sailors assigned to the Golden Eagles of Patrol Squadron (VP) 9 unload a P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft as the squadron returns to its home station at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. VP-9 returned after a seven-month deployment to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility, where the squadron was assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 67, responsible for tactical control of deployed maritime patrol and reconnaissance squadrons throughout the European and African areas of responsibility.
