English: Akwa Ibom State will celebrates its creation anniversary every 23rd of September. Akwaibomites at home and in the Diaspora usually mark this day in grand style! To commemorate this day, every 2go, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, SMS, Email or Comments we make is in our native dialects. If you are Ibibio, wed k’usem Ibibio; Annang? Wed k’usem Annang; Eket? Sem k’ikwo Ekid? Oro? Suguku nsinge Oro!
The Objective of this online event is : To celebrate Akwa Ibom State's anniversary in a unique way, create awareness about the different ethnic accents that exist in Akwa Ibom State and also, to show how young people are utilizing the power of social networking platforms like Facebook to inspire positive change in our communities thus fostering peaceful co-existence, unity and love among our people.
