Description
English: Ex-voto of the Wallachian Paharnic Șerban (Șărban) Cantacuzino, on page 32 of the Gospels translation, printed by the Bishopric of Buzău at Cantacuzino's expense. Engraving had Christ the King, flanked by the Virgin Mary and John the Baptist. With a Romanian Cyrillic poem describing the patron as Șărban odraslă den rădăcină bună ("Șărban who stems from a fine root", i. e. the Cantacuzino family).
