English: סוגי הגטאות משמאל לימין:
1. גטו ללא מוצא: המקביל ל"גטו סגור" מתקופת השואה. מקום מגודר מבחוץ, ותנאי המחייה בו צפופים וקשים. 2. גטו סגור מבפנים: קהילה אשר מרצון מפרידה בין עצמה לבין המרחב החיצוני לה. דוגמת מאה שערים. 3. גטו סגור מבחוץ: קבוצות אוכלוסייה אשר "נח" לחברה שכתוצאה חברתית נידונו לחיות באזור מוגדר. דוגמא לכך הם גטאות האפרו-אמריקאים בארצות הברית, וכן דרום תל אביב עם אוכלוסיית מהגרי העבודה והפליטים. 4. גטו פתוח למחצה: בשונה מ"גטו פתוח" אשר מוכר לנו מתקופת השואה ככזה המאפשר יציאה ממנו למטרות עבודה, גטו כזה מאפשר לאנשים מקהילה מסוימת לדור עם בני קהילתם ולחיות לפי אורחות חייהם, אך ללא הגבלה מהאפשרויות המרחביות העוטפות אותם. |
