Description
English: It is the Upper part of the entrance gate of Rani Rashmoni Kachari Bari. In 1852, when the Nadia royal family could not retain the zamindari of Nabadwip, Rani Rasmoni bought the zamindari of Nabadwip. She then built this kachari house in Nabadwip to manage the zamindari of Nabadwip. There are temples of Radha Govinda Jiu and Gouranga Jiu served by Rasmoni.
বাংলা: এটি নবদ্বীপের রানী রাসমণি কাছারি বাড়ির প্রবেশদ্বারের ঊর্ধ্বভাগ। ১৮৫২ খ্রিস্টাব্দের সমসাময়িক সময়ে নবদ্বীপের জমিদারি নদিয়া রাজপরিবার ধরে রাখতে না পারলে, নবদ্বীপের জমিদারি রানী রাসমণি কিনে নেন। তখন নবদ্বীপের জমিদারি সামলানোর জন্য নবদ্বীপে এই কাছারি বাড়ি গড়ে তোলেন। নবদ্বীপের গঙ্গার ‘ছাড়া গঙ্গা’ নামে যে পরিত্যক্ত খাত আছে, ধার ঘেঁষে গড়ে এই কাছারি বাড়ি গড়ে ওঠে। সেখানে রাসমণি সেবিত রাধাগোবিন্দ জিউ ও গৌরাঙ্গ জিউর মন্দির বর্তমান।
