Description
English: Distorted panoramic image of the interior and rooms in the main building at the University of South-Eastern Norway (Norwegian: Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge, USN) Campus Vestfold located at Bakkenteigen, the campus site by the Raveien road (County Road 325) in the municipality of Horten, Norway between the towns of Horten and Tønsberg.
  • The building was designed by Architect Group Lille Frøen AS and opened in 2010 as part of the Vestfold University College (Høgskolen i Vestfold, HiVe) or the Bakkenteigen campus. The USN university was established in May 2018.
  • The image shows the entrance area with the glass facade (front wall), along with the columns facing the outdoor area, as well as corridors and other areas leading to the wings. On the ground floor, there is a café, a service center, and other facilities; on the balcony (mezzanine), the library at USN and Brage bookstore are located. Students and others are anonymized.
  • On the campus site, you can also find, among other things, Bakkenteigen kulturhus (Cultural center, concert/conference hall) , which opened with the college center in 1991, student housing, student welfare facilities, sports buildings, a swimming pool, and Vestfold Innovation Park.

  • Bygget er tegnet av Arkitektgruppen Lille Frøen AS og åpnet i 2010 som del av den daværende Høgskolen i Vestfold (HiVe) eller Campus Bakkenteigen. Høgskolen i Vestfold fusjonerte med Høgskolen i Telemark og Høgskolen i Buskerud til én institusjon i perioden 2014–2016 under navnet Høgskolen i Sørøst-Norge. USN ble etablert i mai 2018.
  • Bildet viser inngangspartiet med hovedinngangen og glassfasaden og søylene mot uteområdet, samt korridorer og annet innover i fløyene. I første etasje er Kafe Amfi, Servicetorg og annet, på galleriet (messaninen) ligger biblioteket ved USN og Brage bokhandel. Studenter og andre er anonymisert.
  • På campus-området ligger også blant annet Bakkenteigen kulturhus, som åpnet med høyskolesenteret i 1991, studentboliger, velferdssenter (Studentsamskipnadens studenthus), idrettsbygg, svømmehall og Forskningsparken.
