Description
Deutsch: Dieses in hoher Auflösung verfügbare orthogonal aufgenommene Foto besteht aus 17 Einzelbildern, die mit einer Stitching-Software zusammengefügt wurden. Es zeigt ungefähr in Nord-Süd-Richtung. Der Albertus-Magnus-Platz befindet sich exakt in der Bildmitte. Die senkrechte Linie ist die unter dem Platz hindurchführende Universitätsstraße. Rechts vom Platz befindet sich das Hauptgebäude der Universität, links das Philosophikum. Das Hochhaus am linken Bildrand ist das Evangelische Klinikum Weyertal. Südlich schließt sich daran der Geusenfriedhof an. Der Gebäudekomplex unmittelbar rechts daneben mit seinen vielen Oberlichtern ist die Universitätsbibliothek. Sie befindet sich an der Ecke zur Kerpener Straße. Am unteren rechten Bildrand sind die Schienen der Stadtbahn zu sehen; sie verlaufen hier durch die (nicht weiter sichtbare) Zülpicher Straße.

Die Drohnenaufnahme aus 200 Metern Höhe war durch Genehmigungen der Stadt Köln, der Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf und der Deutschen Flugsicherung möglich.
