186 S. 3rd St., The [Universalist] society had then purchased from the German [Lutheran] Saint Paul's Church their let and old frame church on Third street, which served for a time, until in 1846, it was removed, and the present church building erected on the same site. History of Franklin County [1858]. Per Old Trinity Lutheran: In 1820 the [Lutheran] congregation once again outgrowing its structure acquired land on the southeast corner of 3rd between Town and Rich. This site is on 3rd between Town and Rich. The first Universalist congregation was established in Columbus, Ohio, 1844. Universalists and Unitarians merged in the 1960s. |
