English description from The Viking World exhibit (Link): Open silver armlet with traces of gilding representing a coiled snake or dragon. The details of the head as well as the scales on the skin are filled with niello inlay. Part of a hoard find, Undroms By, Boteå Parish, Ångermanland. Weight: 132 g. Diameter: 85.5 mm. |
