Summary[edit]

Description
English: This object from "Museo Arqueológico de Córdoba" was found in the same city and belongs to the Ummayad period (emirate or caliphate) of Al-Andalus (islamic Iberian Peninsula).

This pice is an example of figurative themes in islamic art, in this case it represents a musicians whit what looks like a goblet drum, we can also distinguish in his/her clothing a turban and earrings.

The chronology would be between 756-1031 (Early Middle Ages).
