Description
Bahasa Melayu: Ujian Komunikasi Bahasa Melayu (UKOM) merupakan sebuah ujian lisan terhadap pelajar tempatan prasiswazah. Lulus dalam UKOM adalah salah satu syarat untuk bergraduat daripada UPM. Walaubagaimanapun, sesetengah pelajar UPM dapat dikecuali daripada ujian ini.

Keputusan bagi mata pelajaran bahasa Melayu pada peringkat SPM dan STPM serta kursus BBM3401 di UPM adalah faktor yang menentukan keharusan pelajar untuk mendaftar UKOM.

Dalam gambar ini, anak panah berwarna biru bererti pelajar dapat dikecuali daripada UKOM. Anak panah berwarna merah bererti keputusan tersebuat tidak capai tahap minimum. Pelajar perlu mendaftar UKOM jika ketiga-tiga keputusan itu tidak mencapai tahap minimum yang ditentukan. Pelajar yang tiada keputusan tertentu (contohnya, tidak pernah daftar BBM3401) akan dianggap tidak mencapai tahap minimum.
