Summary[edit]

Description
English: In the westernmost part of the historical settlement of the city of Bonifacio, southern Corsica, France, it is possible to visit "U Timonu" (Rudder of the ship). In the basement of Bonifacio "U Timonu" has been excavated by hand since 1885. You go down 168 steps and you reach this small crack at 10 meters above sea level. Once a signal light for ships was placed here, which could be hidden by dragging it onto the tracks that can be seen on the floor.
