Description
English: GUEREO, Senegal (April 6, 2010) Information Systems Technician 1st Class Erik Lake, from Conowingo, Md., assigned to Beach Master Unit (BMU) 2, signals a landing craft mechanized to shore. BMU-2 directed the offload of U.S., Spanish, Portuguese and British marines from the embarked Security Cooperation Marine Air-Ground Task Force (SC-MAGTF) and Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 7 as part of Africa Partnership Station West. Africa Partnership Station is an international initiative developed by U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa to work with U.S. and international partners to improve maritime safety and security on the African continent.
