English: Providence R.I. (July 01, 2008) Cmdr. Chip Chase, assigned to Naval Sea Systems Command, inspects the hull of the sunken former Soviet submarine Juliett 484. U.S. Navy and Army divers, along with federal, state and local authorities are participating in a joint service operation to raise the sunken former Soviet submarine at Collier Point Park. Juliett 484 sank at her mooring point in about 30 feet of water during a Nor'easter that struck Providence in April 2007.
