Description
English: Fire Base Salerno, Afghanistan (June 28, 2008) Builder 3rd Class Merlyna Crank, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 Det. 4, gets ready to set up targets for weapons training with special operators of Task Force 7th Group 3rd Battalion at Fire Base Salerno. The sub-detachment of Seabees is deployed to this area, less than 50 miles from the border of Pakistan, to construct berthing spaces for Afghan military personnel in support of International Security Assistance Force.
