English: BAY OF BENGAL (Nov. 26, 2007) A Marine aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) helps move water onto a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter for distribution in Bangladesh. Kearsarge and the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts in response to the government of Bangladesh's request for assistance after Cyclone Sidr struck their southern coast Nov. 15. The Department of Defense effort is part of a larger United States response coordinated by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development.
