Description
English: IRAQ (Oct. 7, 2007) - An F/A-18C, assigned to the "Knighthawks" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 136, tests its flare countermeasures system prior to heading into Iraq on a Close Air Support (CAS) mission in support of U.S. and coalition ground forces. VFA-136 is assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1 embarked aboard the nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65).
