English: BOSTON (June 29, 2007) - Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Rich Holmes, attached to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), displays his artistic abilities to some young patients during a Caps for Kids visit to the Jimmy Fund Clinic at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute during Boston Navy Week. The visit is just one of several events planned for the Sailors of the Norfolk based multi-purpose amphibious assault ship during Boston Navy Week. Others include a community service project at the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans and the presentation of colors at a Boston Red Sox game. The week is one of 26 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2007. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
