Mike Mullen answers questions presented by Vice President and Director, Foreign Policy Studies Brookings Institution, Carlos Pascual. Adm. Mullen gave a speech and answered questions on the Navy's effort to formulate a new maritime strategy and about the challenges the service faces over the long term beyond the war in Iraq, during a presentation sponsored by the institution entitled: "The Nation's Navy: Beyond Iraq, Sea Power for a New Era". The Brookings Institution is a private nonprofit organization devoted to the independent research and innovative policy solutions to provide high quality analysis and recommendations for decision makers in the U.S. and abroad facing an increasingly interdependent world.
