English: Sattanhip, Thailand (May 22, 2006) - Chief Mineman Michael J. Negri, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, examines the remains of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) after U.S. Navy and Royal Thai Navy (RTN) EOD detonated a series of explosives in order to see what effect it would have on the vehicle as part of Cobra Gold 2006. Cobra Gold is a combined annual joint training exercise aimed at developing interoperability, strengthening relationships between services and developing cross-cultural understanding among participating nations.
