English: Pacific Ocean (May 2, 2006) - Capt. Joseph Moore, Commanding Officer of the Medical Treatment Facility aboard the Military Sealift Command (MSC) hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) explains to Dr. David Tornberg, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Clinical and Program Policy, and the capabilities of Mercy. Mercy is in Pearl Harbor for a port visit during its five-month humanitarian assistance mission in the Pacific. During Mercy's deployment it will visit areas of South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands where its crew and several health and civic-related organizations will work together to aid in humanitarian and civic efforts.
