Description
English: Pacific Ocean (Oct. 25, 2005) - Two F/A-18F Super Hornets, assigned to the “Diamondbacks” of Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Two (VFA-102), prepare to enter the “break” prior to landing aboard the conventionally powered aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) during carrier qualifications. While at sea, Kitty Hawk and Carrier Strike Group Five (CSG-5) will participate in an annual exercise with the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force.
