English: Pacific Ocean (Mar. 8, 2005) - An HH-60H Seahawk, assigned to the “Chargers” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Fourteen (HS-14), hovers as two members of Explosive Ordnance Detachment (EOD) Mobile Unit Five (EODMU-5) prepare to enter the Pacific Ocean to detonate a simulated mine during a training exercise. Operating with the Kitty Hawk Carrier Strike Group, EOD personnel routinely train to locate and disarm various explosive devices. Currently under way in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility, Kitty Hawk demonstrates power projection and sea control as the U.S. Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, operating from Yokosuka, Japan.
