Description
English: Sasebo, Japan (May 22, 2004) - Sailors aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) keep a watchful eye as a Landing Craft Air Cushioned (LCAC) approaches the ship's well deck during amphibious operations off the coast of Sasebo, Japan. Fort McHenry is enroute to Southeast Asia to join with USS Russell (DDG 59), USS McCampbell (DDG 85), the U.S. Coast Guard High Endurance Cutter Mellon (WHEC 717), and USS Salvor (ARS 52) as the exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2004 task group.
