English: Yokosuka, Japan (Apr. 21, 2004) - Sailors assigned to U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka Special Medical Operations Response Team (SMORT) practice decontamination procedures with a simulated Japanese casualty during a combined U.S.-Japan mass casualty drill. Teams from both the U.S. Navy and Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) worked together to rescue, treat, and transport patients. U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka provides force health protection to the forward-deployed U.S. Seventh Fleet and beneficiaries who support the Fleet throughout the Western Pacific.
