Description
English: Western Pacific Ocean (Sept. 23, 2003) -- Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Donna Sanderson from Lancaster, Calif., prepares serum cups for a lipids panel that is designed to test cholesterol levels in a patient’s blood aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are deployed to the Western Pacific, and will remain there during the maintenance period of the forward deployed USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63).
