Description
English: Arabian Gulf (Feb. 28, 2003) -- An F/A-18C “Hornet” assigned to the “Golden Dragons” of Strike Fighter Squadron One Nine Two (VFA 192) makes an arrested landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). Kitty Hawk and Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) are operating with coalition forces in support of Operation Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom, and is the world’s only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier operating out of Yokosuka, Japan.
