Description
English: At sea aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) Nov. 11, 2002 -- Damage Controlman Fireman Justin Suhaskumar from Carrollton, Texas inspects the Naval Firefighting Thermal Imaging (NFTI) device before conducting training drills. Fireman Suhaskumar is a member of the “Flying Squad” aboard Abraham Lincoln. The “Flying Squad consists of a team of Sailors trained to respond to any fire, flooding, or damage aboard the aircraft carrier. The Lincoln and Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW-14) are on a regularly scheduled six-month deployment conducting combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Southern Watch.
