Description
English: At sea with USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Oct. 1, 2002 -- Line handlers control the messenger line during an underway replenishment as the Military Sealift Command replenishment oilier USNS Tippecanoe (TAO 199) transfers fuel to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. The ships are underway off the coast of California conducting training in preparation for their next scheduled deployment. U.S. Navy Photo by Photographer's Mate Third Class Inez Lawson. (RELEASED)
