English: Farmville, VA (Apr. 15, 2002) -- Builder 1st Class Don Bergeron, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2 at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, VA, secures a charge of high explosives around a fallen tree during debris removal training in the Appomattox river. The training was held in conjunction with the community relations project "Friends of the Appomattox," in which EOD technicians from four different EOD units work with local organizations to remove river obstructions to protect the sensitive ecosystem.
