Description
English: Cpt. Andrew Salmo, of A Co., 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, (on stage right) uses an Egyptian interpreter during a speech to Egyptian, German, Pakistani and Kuwaiti troops at a reception brief Sept. 28 welcoming them to Fort Bragg for Operation Bright Star. The foreign soldiers will be saying at Fort Bragg for two weeks learning to use U.S. Army weapons and conducting airborne operations. On Oct. 12, U.S. troopers will travel to Egypt to complete the second half of the mission.
