Description
English: VICTORY BASE COMPLEX, Iraq - Spc. Lourival Ledo, a supply specialist, from Charlotte, N.C., attached to the 113th Field Artillery Battalion, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, prays with the traditional tallit, the Jewish prayer shawl, and yamakah head cover during a service here, Sept. 18, to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. "I was taught by my father this way of wearing the the tallit. It's the way I learned," said Ledo.
