Description
English: The C-141C Starlifter aircraft from the 452nd Air Mobility Wing, March Air Reserve Base, California, approaching her landing on the Pegasus runway, McMurdo Station, Antarctica . The aircraft is arriving in support of Operation DEEP FREEZE. Deep Freeze is a joint military operation of the US armed forces and the New Zealand Defence Forces, to provide logistic support for the US National Science Foundation's Antarctic program.
