Summary[edit]

Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (CVA-10) underway. Yorktown, with assigned Carrier Air Group 19 (CVG-19), was deployed to the Western Pacific from 9 March to 15 August 1957. Following this cruise, Yorktown was redesignated as an anti-submarine carrier ("CVS") on 1 September 1957.
