Summary[edit]

Description The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Noa (DD-841), probably at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, South Carolina (USA). In the background is a Farragut-class guided missile destroyer being modernized. It received AN/SPS-52 radar on the foremast, which replaced AN/SPS-39 in the mid-to late 1960s. The submarine USS Odax (SS-484) is visible in a drydock at left.
