Summary[edit]

Description Pearl Harbor attack, 7 December 1941, looking toward the Navy Yard from the Submarine Base during the attack. The submarine in the left foreground is USS Narwhal (SS-167). Visible directly behind Narwhal is the destroyer USS Bagley (DD-386). Moored to the right of Bagley are the cruisers USS Honululu (CL-48), USS St. Louis (CL-49), USS San Francisco (CA-38) and USS New Orleans (CA-32). In the distance is 1010 Dock in the right center. Note the sailors in the center foreground, wearing web pistol belts with their white uniforms.
