Description
English: Insignia of the U.S. Navy command ship USS La Salle (AGF-3), in 1984. La Salle was the command ship of the "Commander, Middle East Force" and painted white against the heat, leading the the nickname "The Great White Ghost of the Arabian Coast". This insignia was an unofficial one drawn for the occasion of La Salle's 20th anniversary of her commissioning.
