English: USS H-3 (Submarine # 30)

Being moved off Samoa Beach to Humboldt Bay, near Eureka, California on 6 April 1917, during salvage operations by the Mercer-Fraser Company. Note the rollers and wooden runners below the log and timber structure that supported the submarine during the move.
