Description
English: 160831-N-FO981-121 LOS ANGELES (Aug. 31, 2016) – Aviation Maintenance Administrationman 2nd Class Elisa Veliz and Aerographer’s Mate 2nd Class Jakob Kenna, both assigned to amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), organize water for distribution at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, during the inaugural Los Angeles Fleet Week. Fleet week offers the public an opportunity to tour ships, meet Sailors, Marines, and members of the Coast Guard and gain a better understanding of how the sea services support the national defense of the United States and freedom of the seas.
