Description
English: Close-up of the Morgenthau-era cornerstone at the base of the NRHP-listed Forest Hills Station Post Office, in the Forest Hills section of Queens, New York City. The ZIP Code for the post office is 11375. These cornerstones can be found on colonial revival style post offices, as well as Greek revival, art deco, and even International styles such as this one. The engravings are also more visible in this shot than the previous version.
