English: North Carolina National Guard leader Army Maj. Jason Spencer, of the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, bites a donut provided by volunteers of the USO of North Carolina during a visit to the Camp Butner National Guard Training Center in Stem, N.C. Spencer, the brigade safety officer, was the first officer to grab one of the tasty treats. His peers standing near him said that it is okay for him to eat donuts, since he is a physical fitness ‘guru’. His fellow soldiers opted out but enjoyed the hot dogs provided as a consolation.
