Description
English: Sgt. Mercedes Lopez, Chief Cook with Headquarters Battery, 14th Marine Regiment based in Fort Worth, Texas and Lance Cpl. Vanessa Gonzalez, food service technician with Headquarters Battery, 14th Marine Regiment take charge of preparing the shrimp that was part of the warrior meal. The bacon-wrapped shrimp was one of a six-course meal that was served to the Reserve Marines and Sailors who participated in the Marine Forces Reserve exercises Javelin Thrust and Texas Phoenix at Fort Hood, Texas June 6-20. The 14th Marine Regiment and 4th Marine Logistics Group combined forces to prepare more than 1,800 warrior meals.
