English: Gunnery Sgt. Clinton W. Walker, supply chief for Headquarters and Service Battalion, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, has spent the last 20 years balancing his life as the front man and guitar player for multiple bands, building motorcycles, being a family man and an active-duty Marine. His office is adorned with figurines of guitars and motorcycles, awards and plaques; but the most eye-catching piece of decoration is a paddle, a traditional gift for Marines changing duty stations, modified with guitar strings, frets, a bridge and tuners. Reconnaissance Marines created the gift because of his commitment to music and the Marine Corps while serving with D Company, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, in Albuquerque, N.M. |
