Summary[edit]

Description The DMIR ore dock at the Duluth-Superior harbor in Duluth, Minnesota. Visible in the picture are a laker (non self unloader) and a string of ore jennies.
Date Date of image unknown. Photo can date from no earlier than 1964, when the dock conveyor system was constructed. May date from the early years of the operation. Photo can date from no later than 1981, when construction began on additional ore dock shiploader equipment as well as the Richard I. Bong Bridge further upriver. Both of those items would be visible if this photo was taken after 1981 . Date of upload January 24, 2008
