Description
English: Police minister Jonas Lie of the Norwegian Nazi Party Nasjonal Samling (NS) in SS-Sturmbannführer uniform returning from his "voluntary Waffen-SS service against Bolshevism" at the Eastern Front during World War II. Photo taken on March 3rd, 1943 at the Østbanen Main Railway Station in Oslo in Nazi occupied Norway.
Norsk bokmål: Foto av Jonas Lie og frammøtte parti- og administrasjonskolleger fra Nasjonal Samling (NS) og representanter fra de tyske okkupasjonsmyndighetene, da Lie iført uniform som SS-Sturmbannführer ankom Østbanestasjonen i Oslo onsdag 3. mars 1943 (ifølge Aftenpostens Aftenutgave på formiddagen). Lie var politiminister i Quislings andre regjering under andre verdenskrig og kom hjem som frontkjemper i Waffen-SS etter «langvarig krigsinnsats mot bolsjevismen» på østfronten. Lie ble møtt av blant andre justisminister Sverre Riisnæs (i uniform for Germanske SS Norge), statspolitioberst Karl Marthinsen, kulturminister Rolf Jørgen Fuglesang og Karl Leib, en SS-Sturmbannführer som i 1942 kom til Oslo for å lede det nyoppretta Germanische Leitstelle. Begivenheten er også dokumentert i det første propagandainnslaget i Filmavisen 8. mars 1943.
