Neue UNICEF-Schirmherrin Elke Büdenbender trifft engagierte Jugendliche / Übergabe des Ehrenamts durch Daniela Schadt

Berlin, 09. Juni 2017 – Elke Büdenbender, Ehefrau des Bundespräsidenten und neue UNICEF-Schirmherrin, setzte heute in Schloss Bellevue ein Zeichen für Frieden und die Unterstützung von Kindern in Krisengebieten. Zusammen mit Jugendlichen des UNICEF JuniorTeams Berlin beteiligte sie sich an der Aktion „Spray for Peace“ und sprühte mit Kreide Friedenssymbole auf eine Wand im Schlossgarten. Damit unterstützt sie die bundesweite UNICEF-Kampagne „Kindheit braucht Frieden“. Mit der Kampagne setzt sich UNICEF für das Recht von Kindern im Krieg und auf der Flucht auf eine sichere, gute Kindheit ein. Elke Büdenbender wurde begleitet von der bisherigen Schirmherrin Daniela Schadt, die das traditionelle Ehrenamt damit offiziell weitergab.
