English: Soldiers from 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, and soldiers with the Indian Army's 2nd Battalion, 9th Gurkha Rifles, perform physical fitness together, Sept. 20, 2014, at Ranikhet Cantonment, Uttarakhand, India, as part of exercise Yudh Abhyas 14. The physical training portion of the exercise has included yoga, the U.S. Army's Physical Readiness Training, an obstacle course and running in the Himalayas, where Ranikhet Cantonment is located. Yudh Abhyas 14 is a U.S. Army Pacific-sponsored exercise is geared toward enhancing cooperation and coordination through training and cultural exchanges, which help build skills and relationships necessary during a peacekeeping operation. |
